EvalYear 2015 is an initiative of the global evalution community. Since October 2013, mambers of many regional and national VOPEs (Voluntary Organizations for Professional Evaluation, that is self-organized groups of professionals working in the field of evaluation) have designated 2015 as the International Year of Evaluation at the number of international, national and regional conferences.

In the course of the EvalYear 2015 the global evaluation community will work towards achieveing two goals:

1. Raising public awareness about the importantce of evaluation as a development tool;
   
2. Development of the Global Evaluation Agenda 2016-2020.
   

This map is created so that everyone who supports these two goals can share information about EvalYear 2015 related events as well as her/his testimony about the importance of evaluation.
